Tax Season

Hey nerds. Forty eight years ago this month Star Wars hit the big screen. While other kids wanted to be a Jedi like Luke, my hero was the suave and dashing Han Solo. Dressed in a white button up and blue vest, my bmx ST Racer became the Millennium Falcon as I blazed across the single track that connected the hills behind my house to Elks park. We called it the Kessel Run. No matter how long it took us to descend that trail we always made it in 12 parsecs…just like Han.

This months challenge is to do a 12k Kessel Run. As fate would have it, the nerds on the internet say 1 parsec = 3.26 light years (we’ll call it 3). So you can either run 12k or bike 36k. This challenge will be on Star Wars day, 5/4/25. You get a bonus entry if you run or bike dressed as one of the characters and post it on Strava. Once you have COMPLETED the challenge tag @Josh Pierce and @Ryan Mellem in the comment section of your run or bike. The winner will be drawn at random for the monthly prize.
